Levan ‘The Wolf’ Ghvamichava closes in on EBU title shot

Belfast based Georgian Levan Ghvamichava is just one win away from securing a shot at the European light welterweight title that once sat proudly around the waist of Paul McCloskey.

The Wolf will fight Argentinian Angel Amado Agguire (Boxrec No 39) in February 2012 over 10 rounds.

If he emerges unscathed from that tough challenge the Garly Hyde managed star, who destroyed the respected Giuseppe Lauri in just two rounds, will challenge the winner of Denis Shafikov-Lee McAllister for the 140lb EBU title
