WATCH: TJ Doheny visits Danny Roman’s dressing room following unification WAR

TJ Doheny is leaving Los Angeles without his IBF title but does so with the respect and admiration of fight fans around the world.

The Portlaoise puncher put it all on the line in a topsy-turvy super bantamweight unification with Danny Roman

Down in the second, Doheny almost had Roman out of there in the seventh before being dropped and hurt badly in the eleventh – before rallying in the twelfth.

Afterwards Doheny gave a classy interview in the ring, congratulating Roman as well as expressing his pride in having entertained the crowd

The Laois man didn’t just praise the now WBA and IBF world champion down the barrel of a lens, however, and backstage he took the time to praise and thank Roman personally.

The 32-year-old southpaw visited the new unified champion’s dressing room after things had died down and thanked him for the respect that was shown in the build up as well as congratulating him on his win.
