VOTE: The Liffey Crane Hire Irish Boxer of the Month – NOVEMBER

We’re into the final month of the year and it is time for the Liffey Crane Hire Boxer of the Month award for November.

With big wins in England and our National Championships running in Dublin, there were plenty to pick from for our shortlist and our ten nominees are below.

Voting is now underway and polls will stay open until midnight Saturday.

Katie Taylor
The Bray lightweight became a two-weight world champion with a hard fought win over Christina Linardatou which saw her take the WBO light welter crown.

Tyrone McKenna
The Lenadoon light welter dominated Mikey Sakyi over ten rounds to move into the Golden Contract semi-finals.

John Joe Nevin
The Westmeath super feather won his first title as a pro, leaping up in levels to dominate Freddy Fonseca and claim the WBA International belt.

Daina Moorehouse
The Bray light flyweight flawlessly moved up to adult level, cruising to the Senior [Intermediate] and Elite titles, claiming the Best Boxer award in the latter.

Jude Gallagher
The Tyrone flyweight defeated Regan Buckley to win the Elite title and send out a big statement as well as picking up the Best Boxer award in the process.

Christina Desmond
The Cork welter confirmed her status as Ireland’s best with a win over Grainne Walsh in the main fight of the Elite championships.

Aidan Walsh
The Belfast welterweight dethroned champ Kieran Molloy before beating young talent Callum Walsh to make a National breakthrough at the Elites.

James Tennyson
The Poleglass destroyer moved into British lightweight title pole with a punishing final eliminator win over Craig Evans.

Anto Cacace
The Andersonstown super feather made his big breakthrough, dethroning Sam Bowen to become British champion.

Carl Frampton
The Jackal made his long awaited return, stepping up to super feather and setting up a world title shot with a dominant win over Tyler McCreary in Vegas.
