We’re finally back!

Following a delay as our website was updated and upgraded, it’s time for the latest edition of the Liffey Crane Hire Irish Boxer of the Month.

This instalment covers the months of September and October as Irish fighters claimed big wins at both amateur and professional level.

In all, we have 11 nominees and voting is open until Friday night [voting restricted to one vote per IP address].

The Enniskerry pocket rocket picked up her third European medal, Youth bronze, to round off an amazing underage career.

Welterweight
The Donegal talent, in her first year at Youth level, claimed bronze at the European Youths.

Lisa O’Rourke
Middleweight
Just weeks after her sister won European Elite gold, O’Rourke picked up her second European medal – a bronze at the Youths.

Niamh Fay
Bantamweight
The Swords fighter claimed a glorious gold at the European Youths, scoring four wins en-route to the top of the podium.

Light Middleweight
The Ballymena Olympian romped to the Golden Robe, live on BT Sport, in the Ultimate Boxxer competition.

Featherweight
Stepping up in weight for the Golden Contract competition, the awkward Derry southpaw cruised into the semi-finals with an easy win over late replacement Razaq Najib.

Light Welterweight
The massively talented Turf Lodge southpaw was given a scare by Emiliano Rodriguez but was able to climb off the canvas and grind out a points win.

Cruiserweight
The Belfast big man scored a career-changing, breakthrough win in Italy when he upset home favourite Fabio Turchi on a Matchroom show.

The Sallynoggin slugger stepped in at short notice to take on Kelvin McDonald on Celtic Clash 9 and scored a big knockout win.

Super Middleweight
The Belfast Angolan grabbed a huge upset win on Celtic Clash 9, stopping Commonwealth Games bronze medallist Sean McGlinchey.

Topping the bill again, the Divis fighter claimed his first belt, the BUI Celtic title, with a stoppage win over Iago Barros.
