VIDEO: McComb: Hardest part is getting out of Ireland – but when I do I will make 100 percent make RIO

Sean McComb came home from the World Championships in Doha in bullish mood.

The southpaw went to Qatar chasing a medal and an Olmpic spot, but came back with neither.

He argues his defeat to Azeri legend Albert Selimov – the eventual silver medalist – was more than contentious, and believes he could have won gold if given the nod in that bout.

McComb also told irish-boxing.com that he is confident he will secure an Olympic spot, but knows he will have a target on his back come National Elite Senior time this December.

Indeed, McComb claim getting out of Ireland could prove the hardest part of making it RIO 2016.
