The Tyrone double act is heading to Dublin.

The two Tyrone’s McKenna and McCullagh are the latest Irish fighters to team up with Pete Taylor.

The Golden Contract competitors at featherweight and light welterweight will begin training in Ballyfermot as early as tomorrow.

The duo bring the number of pros currently training with the Taylor to 18, making it the biggest stable in Ireland.

The likes of Luke Keeler, Gary Cully, Senan Kelly, Tony McGylnn, Stevie Collins and David Oliver Joyce have been training with Taylor for sometime now.

However, the Derry and Belfast fighter are most likely following the lead of close friend Tommy McCarthy.

The cruiserweight decided he was best served training outside of Belfast and inspired by Luke Keeler’s recent performances felt Dublin and Taylor were the way to go.

He has since claimed a ranking title with victory over Fabio Turchi in Italy and is mandatory for the European title.

Both McCullagh and Tyrone were recently training in Scotland, working with Danny Vaughan, who also trained Paddy Barnes and is currently mentoring Sean McComb, in Glasgow.

They make the transition ahead of Golden Contract semi finals and join Taylor when they are just two wins away from a massive five fight deal with a promoter rumoured to be Top Rank.
