Title eliminator on Sky Sports for Liam Conroy

Top Pro Gif Ad
Liam Conroy [10(3)-3(1)-1] has been rewarded for his career-best stoppage win over Ferenc Albert last month with a British title eliminator.

What’s more, it will play out on a massive Sky Sports card this September.

Matchroom have announced that the Galway-Barrow light heavy will take on Tomi Tatham [11(5)-1(0)] at the Manchester Arena on September 24th as part of the undercard for Anthony Crolla’s WBA title defence against Jorge Linares.

23 year old Conroy will be aiming to eradicate his sour memories of Sky Sports in the clash. Last year he lost in the first round loss of Prizefighter middleweights.

If he can overcome TNT, Conroy will put himself in line for a shot at British champion, and Matchroom starlet, Hosea Burton.

Last time out, Conroy scored a fourth round knockout over high-level Hungarian journeyman Ferenc Albert at the Guild Hall in Preston to win the WBC Youth Silver title.
