The Irish Invasion – FIGHT CARD UPDATE

There has been an addition and a take-away from the big Irish-themed card in London next month.

The Hellraiser Boxing show at the famous York Hall on Saturday June 22nd has been dubbed ‘The Irish Invasion’ due to the number of fighters from the Boxing Ireland and Assassin Boxing stables that will feature.

Irish featherweight champion Eric Donovan, BUI Celtic light welter champ Victor Rabei, Stillorgan light middle Cillian Reardon, Cavan light middle Owen Duffy, and Waterford super middle Craig McCarthy are all down to feature.

More announcements were promised and it has been since confirmed that exciting Kerry light heavyweight Kevin Cronin [1(1)-0] will box in his second professional contest on the bill.

‘The Kingdom Warrior’ made an impressive debut on the ‘Clash of the Titans’ bill in March, breaking down and stopping Mateusz Lisiak in the fourth round.

However, alongside the good news, there is disappointment for Limerick light middleweight Graham McCormack [4(0)-0].

The popular southpaw was due to appear on the Bethnal Green bill in a major contest but, before he could even be announced for the card, McCormack has been forced off with a hand injury.

More announcements for the show are still due.
