Stevie Kelly falls short in title fight
‘THE Shamrock Express’ Stevie Kelly couldn’t pick up the Victoria State title on his latest stop.
The Mayo middleweight fought Jake Gathercole for the vacant strap on the under card of Dennis Hogan’s latest title win in Grand Star Receptions in Victoria on Sunday morning, but could came up short in this title bid.
The 28 year old, who now has a 5-2 record, suffered a 74-78, 75-77, 74-78 points defeat.
