Relive epic Michael Conlan Falls Park ring walk

Michael Conlan knows how to do a ring walk.

He proved as much on his debut when he went big, walking through a buoyant Madison Square Garden Crowd in an Irish equivalent of the Appollo Creed Rocky IV get-up.

To add further fanfare he had none other than Conor McGregor in tow.

He upped the ante somewhat for last year’s homecoming clash as he doubled up on the songs marring the traditional with the upbeat to set the tone in an excited Odyssey Arena.

Knowing the importance of ramping up the atmosphere – much like the Belfast’s other big bill topper Carl Frampton – the Belfast fighter raised it a level again on Saturday night.

The Top Rank fighter hyped up a Feile crowd over 10,000 with an epic three minutes plus walk to the ring.

The Adam Booth trained world title hopeful, who had hoped to have James McClean and Simon Zebo escort him to the squared circle left his dressing room to the sounds of Grace. He then took to the stage where a host of bands have performed throughout the Feile an Phobail festival and was greeted with a massive roar, before coming down the aisle to the sounds of the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Watch for yourself below:

Conlan sang, the crowd rejoiced and the atmosphere was set.
