Professional Boxing to return to Dublin!

There will be a professional boxing show in Dublin this Summer.

Ricky Hatton has stepped up to the plate and is running the first of a series of shows at the National Stadium on Saturday June 25th.

Fittingly, the first of these shows is titled ‘The Future.’

‘The Hitman,’ his Hatton Promotions outfit, and newcomers FS Promotions will run the shows which will feature both Irish talent and members of the Hatton stable.

June’s card will see the debuts of light middleweight Jay Byrne and former light heavyweight amateur star Chris Blaney. Also appearing will be Michael Devine – whom fans may remember as the boxer of Wexford heritage who was beaten by Jono Carroll in the Prizefighter final.

More fighters will be announced later in the week.

Tickets for the show will be released this week on tickets.ie and from the fighters involved. Prices will range from €15 for children and OAPs (limited), €35 for general admission, and €50 for ringside seats.
