Joe Fitzpatrick [10(7)-0] will squeeze in one more fight before the end of the year.

The Belfast lightweight will box in England next month, it can be confirmed.
Fitzpatrick will feature on an Atlantic Promotions bill in Portsmouth on Sunday December 15th.

The Divis southpaw will face the game Stuart Greener [1(0)-1(0)] over six rounds.

Bath’s Greener only turned pro last month, scoring an upset debut win over Clayton Bricknell. Last time out ‘Little Canelo’ was outpointed by debutant Aaron Prospere and was due to face the 5-0 Harry Limburn on December 15th but now Fitzpatrick will step in.

‘The Dragon’ is enjoying a resurgence in 2019 since signing with Boxing Ireland Promotions. Fitzpatrick returned from over a year out with a second-round stoppage win over West Belfast rival Stephen Webb and followed this up with a maiden title win, stopping Galician Iago Barros in four to claim the BUI Celtic belt.

These two fights saw Fitzpatrick top successive Celtic Clash bills at the Devenish in Belfast but he now gets the chance to build away from home.
