Pauly Upton v Terry Maughan Betting Odds

An Irish title is fought for the second this month tonight in Northampton.

Pauly Upton and Terry Maughan lock horns for the Irish light middleweight crown at The Deco Theatre.

Nottingham-born Maughan contested for the title in 2014, being stopped early by Dee Walsh in Belfast, and will be looking to make amends this time round.

However, Maughan [10(0)-5(5)-1] is viewed by the bookies as a long-shot against the Hatton Boxing star. The 31 year old is a tempting 7/1 to pull off the upset with bet365.

For Upton [11(2)-0], who is aiming to be the first of the boxing brothers to win a title, the best available price is a prohibitive 1/10 with Paddy Power.

The draw is best-priced at 25/1 with BetVictor.

While Upton is the favourite ahead of the clash, the match-up is certainly closer than the odds suggest, and those in attendance tonight are sure to witness an exciting fight between two men desperate to become Irish champion.
