Murphy comes up short in Australian title fight

IT was a case of plenty of guts no glory for Paddy Murphy Down Under this morning.

The Newry welterweight failed to buckle the Australian title around his waist after a tough 10 round contest in Queensland.

The 27 year old was on the wrong end of a 98-90 98-90, 94-94 points reverse and ultimately lost for the first time of his career against Rivan Cesaire.
