MGM have added more Irish talent to their stable as Jake Hanney joins the likes of Declan Geraghty, Anthony Fitzgerald, David MaGuire, Peter McDonagh, Sean Creagh and Craig O’Brien to their fight roster.

Hanney trades the sunny climbs of Australia for the equally sun-kissed Marbella and will look to progress his career with fights on the MGM Dublin hosted Boxnation broadcast shows.

The 26 year old Welterweight had a bit of a stop start career Down Under, but managed four knock out wins from four pro fights.

Hanney also picked up the Australian Young Boxer of the Year award and Prospect of the Year awards and is an exciting addition to a domestic welterweight scene that includes Paddy Gallagher, Dean Byrne, Tyrone McKenna, Peter McDonagh, Michael McLaughlin and Stephen Haughian.
