MGM sign the “The Mighty Celt” McKenna

MGM are very pleased to announce that they have added another big talent to their stable; Tyrone McKenna has joined #TeamMGM to further his already very successful pro career.

Born in Belfast, McKenna started boxing at the age of eight, he won numerous amateur titles and turned pro in 2012 in the USA. He was based in Philadelphia and was trained by world heavyweight champion Tim Weatherspoon in the first instance and then moved to Bozey Ennis. McKenna won all five of his pro fights in the US before moving back home to be closer to his young family. Since being on this side of the pond, his success has continued and he has won a further four fights.

Now on the cusp of an Irish or Celtic title fight, McKenna is very pleased to have been signed by MGM, he said“ Now I have signed with MGM, I am delighted to have such a great team around me to guide my career and progress through the pro ranks, I couldn’t ask to be in better hands.”

And MGM are very pleased to have got their hands on him, “Tyrone is a very promising talent, he has got the added extra that you need to go far in this business and we look forward to helping him along the way.”
