McDonagh wins via stoppage in Kent

FORMER two weight Irish champ Peter McDonagh returned to the ring with a victory on Saturday night.

Fighting for the first time since he claimed the Irish light middleweight title by beating John Hutchinson in March the MGM fighter registered a stoppage win.

McDonagh, who recently vacated the Irish light middleweight strap and claimed the lightweight strap back in 2006, stopped journey man Zoran Cvek in the final round of a scheduled six round clash.
