McCullough and Conlan move into WBO World top 5

Cyclone Promotions’ prospects Marc McCullough and Jamie Conlan have risen into the top-5 of the World Boxing Organisation’s (WBO) World rankings at Featherweight and Super Flyweight respectively following a multitude of impressive displays throughout 2014.

WBO European Featherweight champion McCullough and WBO Intercontinental Super Flyweight champion Conlan have both had a hugely successful 2014 having signed with Cyclone Promotions in March of this year and can now look forward to a big 2015.

Conlan, 13(8)-0 and the WBO #5, has also been put forward by the WBO to box in an eliminator for the WBO World Super Flyweight title against England’s undefeated Paul Butler in the new year.

McCullough, 11(7)-1 and the WBO #5, is also in line for a World title shot in the not too distant future and is coming off a very impressive stoppage victory over former World Champion Dimitry Kirillov of Russia in the chief support bout to the Martinez vs Frampton 2 World title fight on the 6th of September.
