Low Blows: Mr Dynamite Conrad Cummings

Every Wednesday we ask an Irish boxer for their Low Blows, where they send a few slaps the way of their fellow fighters.

This week it’s the turn of middleweight Conrad Cummings [11(5)-1(0)-1] and the Tyrone fighter has some tales from his times in the amateurs, the WSB, and now in McGuigan’s Gym.

Q: Hardest Trainer?
A: I train very very hard myself but my stablemate Josh Taylor is serious grafter as well.

Q: Biggest Moaner?
A: Anthony Cacace. I love the lad, but oh my did he moan about training.

Q: Funniest?
A: Christine Frampton cracks me up, especially on social media.

Q: Biggest Ladies’ Man?
A: Ruairi Dalton loves the ladies and they (sort of) love him. Ha!

Q: Most Intelligent?
A: Anyone who boxes isn’t intelligent and, if they are, by the end they have it knocked out of them.

Q: Least Intelligent?
A: Hughie Myers literally couldn’t tell the time!

Q: Hardest Puncher?
A: I fought Sergiy Derevyanchenko in the WSB, his power was wicked. Darren O’Neill also could whack!

Q: Most Naturally Talented?
A: Everyone agrees on this, Anto Cacace has phenomenal talent.

Q: Cheapest?
A: Josh Taylor is a typical tight Scotsman, sorry mate.

Q: Worst Dancer?
A: Carl Frampton loves dancing very badly after a few shandies.

Q: Worst Dress Sense?
A: John Joe Nevin used to tuck his jeans into his socks.

Q: Biggest Messer?
A: Paddy Barnes is a serious messer!
