Jono Carroll out to ruin Eddie Hearn’s $5,000,000 plan

Jono Carroll [16(3)-0-1] will be aiming to mess up a lot of plans this Friday night.

The Dubliner challenges IBF super featherweight champion Tevin Farmer [28(6)-4(2)-1] at the Liacouras Center and many are already looking on to the Philly fighter’s next contest.

Carroll is as wide as 6/1 to cause the upset and the constant talk of a unification for Farmer versus WBA champ Gervonta Davis [20(19)-0] has recently stepped up a notch.

On Saturday night, Eddie Hearn, promoter of both Farmer and Carroll, suggested that he would make a $5,000,000 offer to Davis following the fight this weekend.

The Matchroom boss said that he would give The Money Team fighter a “f*cking massive” offer and agreed that $5,000,000 is an appropriate figure.

Both Americans would express their willingness for the bout.

Meanwhile, FInglas-Dunshaughlin southpaw Carroll is currently in Philadelphia ahead of the DAZN and Sky Sports-broadcast bout.

In recent years ‘King Kong’ has said that he admires Davis and has suggested that a fight between the pair would be a war.

Carroll currently isn’t on the radar of the Baltimore boxer but a win on Friday, which would go down as one of the most sensational triumphs in Irish boxing history, could see the charismatic fighter gatecrash the scene.
