Victor Rabei begins the next chapter of his career early next month.

The Moldovan-Dub signed a promotional deal with Star Boxing and Joe Deguardia and makes his American debut in New England on December 13.

Rabei will fight on the New England Explosion card at the Massmutual Center alongside local talent such as Richie ā€˜Popeye the Sailor Manā€™ Rivera and ā€˜Actionā€™ Anthony Laureno.

ā€˜Slickā€™ Vic joins Waterford welterweight Dylan Moran on the books of Star Boxing ā€“ and just like the ā€˜The Real Dealā€™ the Steven Oā€™Rourke trained fighter hasnā€™t been given an ā€˜gimmeā€™ start.

The 24-year-old, who has been assured of nine fights over three years, will trade leather with Omar Bordoy early next month.

Speaking to David Kelly about the fight, the BUI Celtic Champion revealed he requested a tough introductory fight.

“I don’t want easy fights. It’s very hard to motivate yourself going into the ring against not the best opponent. So I said straight off the bat to get me decent fights. The guy I am fighting next is very good I am really looking forward to it. “
