How to Watch Jason Quigley v Tureano Johnson

Jason Quigley steps up tonight in Los Angeles and Irish fight fans will be able to watch every punch

The Donegal middleweight tops a Golden Boy card at the Fantasy Springs Casino in Indio, his fourth headline appearance and third at the venue, where he will put his WBC-NABF rankings title on the line against Caribbean veteran Johnson.

Thankfully there is a way for Irish fans to watch as Quigley aims to position himself for a tilt at world honours in the not-so-distant future.

While the fight card is part of the ‘Golden Boy on DAZN’ Thursday night fights series, the bill will not actually feature on this platform. Instead the card will be streamed via the website of The Ring Magazine and on local TV stations in a number of U.S. states.

In Ireland, the card is being carried by eir Sport 1 who are showing their third consecutive Quigley headliner.

In terms of time, California is eight hours behind Ireland so it is going to be a late night or early morning for fans watching in this part of the world.

Doors at the Fantasy Springs open at 4:30pm local time (12:30am Irish time).

The main televised portion of the card is then set to start at 7:00pm (3:00am Irish time).

Three fights will be shown, headliner Quigley, the chief support bout where Alberto Melian defends his WBA-NABA super bantamweight title versus Leonardo Baez, and then the show-opening fight between Marlen Esparza and Sonio Osario.

Two early stoppages in Melian-Baez and Esparza-Osario would have Quigley in the ring at around 4:00am but it is likely that the Ballybofey man will be in action slightly later than this.
