Headliner Selkirk replaced on MGM Dublin show

In an announcement that was hinted last week by the retiring Dee Walsh, the mercurially talented Joe Selkirk has been forced off the MGM Promotions ‘Clash of the Clans’ card at the National Stadium with a knee injury.

The injury-prone Liverpudlian was due to fight London-Galway man Gary Corcoran for the WBO Inter-Continental light middleweight belt on the February 6th show.

Thankfully a good replacement has been found for the ‘Hellraiser’ who will now face former English middleweight champ Danny Butler [25(9)-5(1)].

Also featuring are Jamie Kavanagh, Phil Sutcliffe Jnr, Jamie Conlan, Peter McDonagh, Stephen Ormond, Declan Geraghty, Patrick Hyland, Sean Creagh, Craig O’Brien, Gary Sweeney, and Romeo Romaeo.
