Sean Turner [12(8)-3(1)] believes he is the biggest puncher in Ultimate Boxxer 6 and will be surprised if any of his seven fellow contestants last more than 30 seconds with him as a result.

After all but demanding entry into the Prizefighter style tournament, the Dublin heavyweight was eventually confirmed as one of the contestants for the Golden Robe earlier this month.

‘Big Sexy’ will have to emerge victorious from what most argue is the relatively new tournaments strongest ever line up if he is to win the Golden Robe.

However, he argues not only should victory be a given, but he should win the £16,000 on offer with ease, picking up knockout bonuses along the way.

Indeed, Turner, who like the last installment’s winner. Steven Donnelly will wear the green shorts on the night, expects to take out whoever he is drawn against in extra quick time.

Turner has already secured plenty of early stoppages in his career, with six of his eight knockout wins coming inside two rounds, and he plans on adding to that tally when he competes in the one-night tournament.

“I’m the favourite because I’m the most notorious, and I’m the hardest puncher in it. I’m going to be going in there to knock them clean out in 30 seconds, so these fights won’t be lasting long,” he said.

As a former accomplished amateur and an explosive fighter, Turner believes the format of the tournament – three three minute rounds – suits him.

“This tournament suits me down to the ground. It’s going to be three three minutes round of all out hell.

December’s event sees Turner part of a strong line-up, which includes Nick Webb, Kamil Sokolowski, Jonathan Palata, Jay McFarlane, Mark Bennett, Josh Sandland and Chris Healey.

Turner will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of his MTK Global team-mate Steven Donnelly, who successfully won Ultimate Boxxer in the super-welterweight division back in September.
