Fitzgerald and Geraghty to fight in Belfast in June

ANTHONY Fitzgerald will make his MGM debut in Belfast on June 14 on the same card as stable mate Declan Geraghty will make his Irish debut.

The Dublin duo, who are currently in Macklin’s Gym Marbella preparing for next contests, will go to work on a Holiday Inn hosted show that includes the debut of fellow Dubliner Sean ‘Big Sexy’ Turner.

For Fitzgerald it is first fight under the guidance of Seamus Macklin and after success defeats to Eamonn O’Kane and former World champion Hassan N’Dam he will be searching for a return to winning ways. Fitzgerald had taken time out to fix a neck injury and now back to full health is eager to get a new phase of his career started.

For former Senior Champion and Irish International Geraghty it is a chance to show Irish fight fans what he can do as a pro. ‘Pretty Boy’ made his debut in England earlier this month and will be looking to double his win tally on July 14.
