After a busy week in Irish boxing, and one which saw the return of professional prizefighting to Dublin, we take a look back at our Top 10 Biggest stories of the past 7 days.

#10: First up is the revelation that Stephen Ormond’s most recent opponent, Miguel Jiminez, failed a post-fight drugs test after their clash in March.

#9: We chatted to an excited Chris Blaney ahead of his pro debut – and the ‘Ginger Ninja’ certainly delivered with his promised big performance.

#8: Tallaght welterweight Sean Creagh had an impressive win on ‘The Future’ show and – going by the amount of people who read the fight report – interest around Creaghsy is growing.

#7: Details of Conor Wallace’s sparring session with UFC megastar Conor McGregor certainly piqued readers’s interest.

#6: On Friday we introduced our readers to a Hatton-trained former Irish underage footballer-turned-boxer – and he would win his fight this weekend.

#5: Ray Moylette had a confident statement of intent upon the confirmation of his place at the last chance Olympic qualifier starting next week in Venezuela.

#4: Divisive trainer Joe Gallagher and his belief that Shane McGuigan would be boastful if George Groves defeated Martin Murray (which he did) was a massive talking point this week.

#1: And our biggest story of the week was the news that Carl Frampton is flying out to New York very early in order to acclimatise ahead of his clash with Leo Santa Cruz.
