‘Fight of the Year’ nomination for Foley

Dubliner Darragh Foley [7(5)-1(0)] has been nominated for Aus-Boxing.com Fight of the Year for his absolute barnstormer with Valentine Borg.

The Perth-based lightweight dominated the highly-rated Australian prospect en-route to a fifth round stoppage.

Also nominated are the wars between super middleweights Zac Dunn and Max Bursak, and super featherweights Jack Asisand Kye MacKenzie

Foley joins Dennis Hogan on the ballot sheet for the December 10th awards in Melbourne. The Kildare light middleweight is nominated for Fighter of the Year.

First and more importantntly, however, Foley fights for the Australian lightweight title next weekend in a massive clash with Miles Zelewski [5(3)-0] in Brisbane.
