Fight dates set for Monaghan McKenna brothers

Brothers Aaron and Stevie McKenna have been handed separate American fight dates as they look to continue their progression in the pro ranks.

The LA-based Monaghan duo will trade leather on different cards in the month of June.

The older but less experienced of the two in terms of pro boxing is up first.

Lightweight Stevie [1(1)-0] performs for a second time as a paid operator atĀ The Hangar in Orange County on Thursday June 13th.

‘The Hitman’ showed real intent on his debut stoppingĀ Trey Branch within a round earlier in the year and the Sheer Sports-managedĀ Courage Tshabalala-trained puncher will be hoping to impress in similar fashion against a yet to be confirmed opponent.Ā

The 22-year-old’s teen brother Aaron [7(4)-0] fights a week later atĀ the Fantasy Springs Casino in Indio on Saturday June 21st on a DAZN streamed show.

The Golden Boy prospect, 19, fights for the eighth time as a pro and his seventh time in California.

The Smithborough native defeated previously undefeatedĀ Loretto Olivas last time out and the exciting welterweight prospect is scheduled for six rounds again on the undercard of Andrew Cancioā€™s rematch with Alberto Machado.
