There are four Irish boxers in action today in Eastern Europe, with one medal up for grabs.

Shauna O’Keefe will look to guarantee bronze at the European Championships in Bulgaria while three of our Men’s Youth team will begin their World Championships campaign in Russia with Roud of 32 bouts..

First up in St Petersburg for the boys is Dublin light flyweight Jordan Moore. The rangey Glasnevin teen is in Ring B at 10:15am (Irish time) against German Salah Imberahim.

Following on from this, is Cork bantam Eamer Coughlan. The Riverstown war-lover has a tough opening assignment against Kazakh Samatali Toltayev at 1:15pm in Ring A.

We switch over to Sofia and the women at 2:15pm. Tipperary lightweight Shauna O’Keefe boxes to guarantee bronze, but faces a tough test against Russian Daria Abramova (indeed all four Irish quarter finalists face Russian opposition).

Finally, back in St Petersburg at 3:15pm, Belfast flyweight Conor Quinn takes on Cuban Elio Crespo-Santos in Ring B.

Shauna O’Keefe’s fight will be able to be streamed here.
