Sean Creagh is happy to work away quietly in the back round and out of the spot light for now.

The welterweight is one of number of new Irish fighting pros, but hasn’t the same fan fare as some of the top notch amateurs who are now his pro compatriots.

Creagh fights for the second time when he trades leather with Arvydas Trizno on a small hall show in Preston this Saturday and knows wins will help his stock rise.

“The Senior Champions and the like that have turned over are going to be in limelight and rightly so they’ve earned it,” Creagh told Irish-boxing.com.

“There is pressure that comes with that. I like just working away in background and maybe one day I will be in the spotlight.”

Creagh registered a four round points win in an entertaining first paid fight, but wasn’t entirely happy with his first pro performance.

With some experienced banked and a second pro camp under his his belt the MGM puncher is confident he will show improvements against a fighter who has 21 wins from 67 fights.

“When I look back to the debut I rushed things a little. I am going to take my time this time round. I like to keep pressure on opponent I just have to make sure its educated pressure.

“At the end of this camp stronger I feel fitter, stronger and sharper. I have a set the foundation which I can improve on every camp.

“This camps went great. My coaches Steven and John flynn from Epic Fitness Tallaght have pushed me hard. They have got the best out of me. I watched a bit of my opponent on youtube, but I leave game plan and that to my coaches.”

If Creagh claims victory on Saturday night he will be hoping to get on the big MGM November 7 show.

“I’ll leave when and where I fight down to my team MGM and my manager Daniel wont steer me wrong. In saying that I would love to get on the November 7 show. It would be a dream come true to fight at home. All my friends and family keep asking when I am out in Dublin. I would like to thank my sponsors Ktech Security DK Barbers Citywest and Paleo Ireland.”
