So impressive was Conor Wallace when he sparred Conor McGregor two weeks ago, the Newry middleweight is now being flown out to Las Vegas for the remainder of ‘The Notorious’s’ camp for his rematch with Nate Diaz.

20 year old Wallace will fly to the States next week to join up with Team McGregor and provide sparring for the UFC star where he will be replicating fellow long southpaw Nate Diaz.

McGregor was submitted by Stockton’s Diaz in the second round of their lightweight (170lbs) bout at UFC 196 in March and the outspoken duo renew acquaintances on UFC 202 on August 20th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

The camp will be a brilliant experience for the Tokyo 2020 hopeful who boxes out of St Monica’s in his home town.

Wallace said that “I am very thankful Conor has given me this opportunity.”

“It will be an honour to work with and train alongside one of the biggest sport stars in the World.”
