Headline News

Conor McGregor, Malignaggi, Joshua and Khan Updates

Rumour had it that Conor McGregor was to fight Paulie Malignaggi, but the record has been set straight by Paulie this week, when speaking to the media. When asked by Express Sport if the former professional American boxer was due to hit the ring with the former UFC featherweight (and lightweight) champion, Paulie said that the rumours were ‘not true!’ before continuing with;

But of course, Conor is the king of bulls**t so I would not be surprised if this Conor having his team put out rumours just to keep his name in the headlines. Yesterday (Tuesday), Tenshin Nasukawa shut him down by telling him he needs to make 58 kilos for a fight. Now suddenly, the next day, he is another headline negotiating? I assure you he will never fight me. No balls wasn’t a catchphrase, it is a fact.”

Anthony Joshua Rumours

Jarrell Arlington Miller (aka Big Baby), the American professional boxer and former kickboxer who competes in the Heavyweight division has been linked to Anthony Joshua on more than one occasion. Rumours are circulating, which is having an effect on punters heading to the bookies and casino sites in anticipation of a big fight, but Jarell’s promoter is keeping everyone guessing, by claiming it’s up to Anthony Joshua if he wants to fight him in New York later this year.

“Jarrell is the best American heavyweight, and has always expressed his interest to fight Joshua, so the ball is in his court. This is one of the biggest possible fights in boxing for 2019. If it happens at Madison Square Garden, it would bring back the heavyweight memories of Mike Tyson and Riddick Bowe, the boxing greats from Brooklyn, New York.”

Salita continue with;

“Jarrell grew up in Brooklyn, it would be a huge event in New York. One of the biggest heavyweight fights in Madison Square Garden, literally and figuratively.”

Amir Khan:

Former two-weight world champion (and I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here contestant) Amir Khan has hinted his proposed fight with undisputed welterweight king Terence Crawford could be announced in a few days time. Tweeting on Thursday, Khan let slip;

“Not long to go. Big announcement coming soon.”

Khan was originally in talks to face Brit Kell Brook, but decided to fight Crawfed who many boxing fans believe to be the best pound-for-pound fighter on the planet.
