Ciaran Bates added to June Hatton show

Ciaran Bates [5(4)-0] has become the eighth boxer announced for the FS Promotions and Hatton Promotions ‘The Future’ show on June 25th.

The Tallaght lightweight will return the the National Stadium, the scene of some of his greatest amateur triumphs, for the first time as a pro.

The clash comes after a period of twelve months of inactivity since Bates’s knockout win at the York Hall over Danail Stanoev last Summer.

30 year old Bates is seeking to quickly move up through the rounds in his coming bouts as he continues to chase a fight with Belfast fan-favourite Paul Hyland.

Indeed onlookers will be able to compare the two on the night, with Hylo also appearing on the card at the historic South Circular Road venue.

The card, which promises to breathe new life into Dublin boxing, is starting to shape up nicely. The card, rumoured to feature of twelve fights, currently consists of:

Ciaran Bates
Paul Hyland
Chris Blaney
Jay Byrne
Darren Cruise
Tyrone McCullagh
Michael Devine
Stephen Carroll
