Katie Taylor has the chance to become a two weight champion this weekend.

The Irish sensation takes on Christina Linardatou for the WBO light welterweight world crown and victory will see her become only the third Irish fighter ever to hold world titles at two weights.

A win for the undisputed lightweight champion will see her join Steve Collins and Carl Frampton in the history books as well as pick up an astonishing fifth world title.

Standing in her way is a determined and defiant Linardatou.

‘Medusa’ has been letting anyone that will listen know she isn’t coming to Manchester for a payday.

She remains adamant Taylor will have to come through her to get her strap.

The pair got to see each other for the first time since they went face to face at the official press conference to announce the fight today, as both part took in the media workout.
