Cacace opens Titanic Showdown in style

Anthony Cacace got the Titanic Showdown fight night off to a perfect start.

Fighting under the ‘Apache’ ring moniker for the first time the super featherweight chopped down Dawid Knade in the second round of the show opener.

The new Cyclone Promotion fighter, who sported gun metal coloured ring attire shot down the pole after 2:09 of the second stanza.

Cacace fought behind a stiff jab in the first and had some success with an accurate and powerful straight right. The former Irish Champion hurt his foe to the body early in the second and it was apparent the end was nigh.

Another right hook to the body saw Knade move his head into Cacace sights and the Shane McGuigan trained fighter dropped his opponent with a lovely timed right hand to win his first fight in 10 months via stoppage.
