Boxing Ireland have added another Belfast fighter to their stable as the list of Irish pros grows further.

The promotional company behind the Celtic Clash series have added Ryan Lennon to their books. Lennon is a Holy Trinity graduate with a solid amateur background.

The Belfast fighter has won five Antrim titles and two Ulster titles in the vest and makes his way to pro ring having spent time on the semi pro circuit.

Lennon, who was officially announced as a Boxing Ireland fighter on Tuesday, will campaign at super middleweight, coming down from where he boxed as an amateur.

The 168lbs fighter has been penciled in to debut on Celtic Clash 10 a card that now looks set to play out in Belfast in February.

Lennon joins a growing list of new Irish pros and indeed of Boxing Ireland new signings.

The Leonard Gunning, Stephen Sharpe and Dennis Morrison run promotional outfit have added over 20 fighters to their roster this year, including a host of northern punchers since they made their return to Belfast.

The likes of Owen O’Neill, Joe Fitzpatrick, Sean McGlinchey, Kelvin McDonald, Conor Doherty, Conor Cooke, Jamie Douglas, and Stephen Webb are joined by Lennon under the watchful of Morrison and the promotional company as a whole.

The new to the pro game fighter will be trained by former Irish champion and young coach Dee Walsh. Walsh has been working with Cooke and close pal Ruari Dalton and now has another fighter in his stable.
