Belfast amateur star Ruari ‘The Rook’ Dalton will make his professional debut in Dublin on the Red Corner Promotions show at the National Stadium on Saturday November 5th.

Dalton is a 2014 Commonwealth Games participant, where he won two fights and lost to Australia’s eventual flyweight gold medalist Andrew Moloney in the quarter finals. The St James’s fighter is also a former two-time Ulster Senior champion and holds a win over current Commonwealth 115lb champ Jamie Conlan and a competitive loss to current WBA bantamweight champ Rau’shee Warren.

As a pro he will campaign in the super bantamweight division and will be trained by John Breen, alongside Feargal McCrory and Paddy Gallagher.

Dalton joins Dublin middleweight Luke Keeler and Balbriggan welter Crank Whitehouse as the names currently confirmed for the South Circular Road-hosted card.
