Beast Cummings will get a stoppage on Friday night says coach Shane McGuigan

‘Beast’ Conrad Cummings won’t be brought the distance in the Waterfront Brawl says coach Shane McGuigan.

McGuigan, who also mans world title challenger Carl Frampton’s corner, has been impressed with the former World Series of Boxing middleweight ahead of his third pro bout and is confident his charge will will sink Lajos Munkacsi  to the canvas at the Waterfront on Friday night.

“You can expect a stoppage,” McGuigan predicted confidently. “The guy is a beast. We can’t even get sparring for him because he has been taking them all out. He is sending a message to all the guys in London. You can expect a good show from him on Friday.”

Cyclone Promotions CEO Barry McGuigan is equally as excited about the 23 year old prospect and predicts a bright future for Cummings.

“This kid is going to be an awsome middleweight. He has really impressed us tremendously in training,” said Barry McGuigan. “He has had top quality sparring. He has been with light heavyweights and light middleweights and he is looking magnificent. He has a tough fight against a guy who has traveled all over the world and has half wins half loses, but that is what we want for Conrad.”
