Baltic adventure for Fryers and Tennyson

Fresh from their wins on the ‘Champions at the Europa’ dinner show, Belfast duo James Tennyson and James Fryers will be in action again next month.

Estonia on November 14th will be the location for the Mark Dunlop-promoted pair, who will box in six round contests in Talinn on an EST Boxing Promotions card that will be PPV streamed online.

The two will act as support for the heavyweight headline act of Robert Helinius versus Dennis Bakhtov.

Super featherweight Fryers will look to make it a perfect 5-0 in 2015, whilst James Tennyson will be aiming to keep fresh ahead of his British featherweight title eliminator with Darren Traynor.

Speaking to Nicky Fullerton of the Belfast Newsletter, promoter Dunlop explained that “It is a fantastic opportunity for the lads. The whole team is now starting to raise eyebrows throughout Europe so it will be great to showcase two top talents on that stage.”

“It was always my plan to keep Tennyson active until he gets his British Title shot so this will be the perfect chance to achieve that.”

“I believe he is one of the best talents in the division in Europe right now.”
