Another new fighter signs pro deal

It’s A Bout Boxing Ireland have confirmed yet another signing.

The new outfit, which has its roots in FS Promotions, has snapped up six-time Irish underage champion Keane McMahon.

The Dubliner boxed out of Docklands, Phibsboro, and Ballybough during his amateur career, and reached the semi finals of the 2015 Intermediate Championships at welterweight.

McMahon joins fellow debutants Barry Barnes, Regan Buckley, Dylan McDonagh, and John Joyce in the It’s A Bout Boxing Ireland stable – which also features Stephen Carroll and Crank Whitehouse.

All of the above look set to feature on the inaugural It’s A Bout Boxing Ireland card which will be headlined by Christina McMahon and will take place at the National Stadium on Saturday April 1st.

By our count McMahon is the fifteenth fighter set to debut in 2017 alongside Mick Conlan, Ray Moylette, Lewis Crocker, Padraig McCrory, Sean Higginson, Sean McGlinchey, Dylan Moran, Dylan McDonagh, John Joyce, Regan Buckley, Thomas Finnegan, Barry Barnes, Vladimir Belujsky, and Sean Magee.
