Ricky Hatton trained Upton brothers team up with MGM

The Upton brothers are the latest Irish talent to be added to the MGM fight stable.

The ticket-selling trio, who represented Ireland at amateur level and draw support from Belfast, Dublin, and all over England, have officially teamed up with MGM this week.

The Upton’s have proved a big York Hall draw, but this move could open the door to further fights back in Ireland.

MGM released the following statement today:

Just days into the new year MGM are very pleased to announce their latest signing in the UptonClan. The Upton brothers, Pauly, Sonny and Anto are all trained and promoted by Ricky Hatton and will now put their management contract in the hands of MGM.

The band of brothers who are all former Irish champions turned pro in 2013 and are chasing titles under the watchful eye of Ricky Hatton.

With MGM now in their corner too, 2016 could be an exciting year for the lads. MGM Management said, “We are delighted to be managing the Upton brothers; they all show a lot of potential and we believe together with Ricky Hatton they will go far.”
