Who to be up for? Joshua and Whyte tell Irish-boxing.com they have Irish heritage

Such is the hype surrounding Anthony Joshua and Dillian Whyte’s December 12 British title fight that the 02 hosted clash sold out in six hours!

Hype and interest in such a bout will spread across the water and most certainly capture Irish fight fans attention.

Indeed such is the love for a battle of the big men this side of the Irish Sea and such will be the Sky Sports News coverage that the casual will most certainly be drawn to the eagerly anticipated heavyweight dust up.

So a lot of Irish fans will have to answer the ‘who are you up for decision’. Here at Irish-boxing.com we thought that decision would be easy after we interviewed Olympic gold medal winner Anthony Joshua. The likable giant revealed we could claim him via the granny rule that served our footballers so well down the years.

However, Whyte followed suit and revealed he to has Irish heritage and said he remains in contact with family from Dublin.
