What time does TJ Doheny fight at tonight? How can I watch?

TJ Doheny fights for the twenty-first time as a professional tonight when he makes the maiden defence of his IBF super bantamweight world tile – and it will be the first time one of the Portlaoise punchers bouts has been available on Irish TV.

‘The Power’ defends his red belt for the first time at The Theater at Madison Square Garden, taking on Japan’s Ryohei Takahashi in a voluntary defence.

The fight is unbeaten Doheny’s first under the Matchroom Promotions banner having had his link-up with Eddie Hearn’s outfit announced just last week.

The card at the famous New York venue tonight will be shown on this side of the Atlantic via Sky Sports – specifically Sky Sports Arena.

Sky Sports Arena – Sky Channel 408

In America the fight will be shown live via the DAZN subscription streaming platform

Doheny’s bout is third last on the bill just before Demetrius Andrade and Jorge Linares’s bouts with Arthur Akavov and Pablo Cesar Cano respectively

The Irishman’s fight scheduled to take place at 2:00am (Irish time) which is also the same time that the broadcast on Sky Sports Arena begins – meaning it is highly unlikely that he will ringwalk before this.

The card tonight also features future Katie Taylor foe Amanda Serrano.

The controversial Puerto Rican looks to become a seven-weight world champion when she takes on Austrian Eva Voraberger for the vacant WBO super fly belt.

Serrano’s fight, however, will not be available to watch in Ireland, with ‘The Real Deal’ taking to the ring earlier on in the card before the Sky Sports broadcast begins.

The fight with Voraberger will be available for DAZN subscribers.
