The quiet Summer schedule continues this weekend, but there still are Irish in action across the waters.

First up this weekend on Friday is unbeaten light welterweight youngster Matt Conway [6(3)-0] is in action at the Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. ‘Sweet Child faces Chris Alexander over six rounds.

On Saturday night at the Victoria Warehouse in Manchester, Ryan Doyle [12(7)-1(1)-1] is out for revenge, and the English featherweight title. Headlining the show, Ruthless Ryan takes on Ian Bailey, the only man to have defeated him as a pro, for the belt.

At the Ice Arena in Cardiff there is plenty of Irish interest on the Boxnation show headlined by World title bouts for Guillermo Rigondeaux and Terry Flanagan.

Galway cruiserweight Gary Sweeney [1(1)-0] takes on durable Czech Marek Gabor over four.

Belfast fan-favourite Jamie Conlan [16(10)-0] faces the challenge of Partik Bartos. The Commonwealth super flyweight champion will be looking for another eye-catching performance against the Czech super bantam champ.

Welterweight Tyrone McKenna [9(3)-0-1] will be looking to get back to winning ways following an unfortunate technical draw last time out. The Belfast fighter is in against a to-be-confirmed opponent.

Co-headliner is Wembley-Connaught light middleweight Gary Corcoran [15(9)-0], who looks to wrest the Commonwealth and British titles away from home favourite Liam Williams.

Finally, at the York Hall in London, Luke Watkins [8(5)-0] is out again. ‘The Duke’ takes on Dmitrij Kalinovskij over six at the famous old venue.
