WATCH: Tyrone McKenna and Renald Garrido have hilarious Hallowe’en head-to-head

He promised a weigh-in with a difference, and Frenchman Renald Garrido certainly delivered today in Belfast.

The eccentric away fighter is a late replacement for Tommy Coyle, and takes on Lenadoon light welter Tyrone McKenna over ten rounds on the Ryan Burnett v Zhanat Zhakiyanov bantamweight unification undercard.

The dangerous Frenchman charmed at yesterday’s press conference and came to the weigh-in today in his Hallowe’en gear and jokingly jostled with The Mighty Celt.

Garrido then returned to the stage and threw sweets into the crowd.

In terms of the actual weigh in, the non-title fight has been made for 144lbs and both boxers successfully made weight. Garrido came in at 143.5lbs, while McKenna tipped the scales slightly lower at 143lbs..
