WATCH: Stevie McKenna obliterated opponent to make back to back first round KO’s

Stevie McKenna moved to 2-0 in the early hours of this morning in devastating fashion.

The Monaghan lightweight was in action on a Roy Englebrecht card at The Hangar in Cosa Mesa, LA, where he scored a first-round KO.

McKenna obliterated South Carolina’s Keasen Freeman to claim his second straight first-round knockout, dropping the American twice with bodyshots before finishing him off with a sweet left hook upstairs following the second restart.

Irish fight fans may remember Freeman’s name from his clash with McKenna’s younger brother Aaron last April, with the teenage welterweight also needing less than a round to register the win.

Stevie’s win comes two months following a similarly dominant debut where McKenna chopped down Trey Branch.

The Smithborough man will no doubt be back in training soon as he looks to build his record and secure a promotional deal top supplement his management contract with Sheer Sports.
