WATCH: Gone in 60 seconds – Big James Tennyson bodyshot KO

James Tennyson needed less than a minute to close the show last night in Belfast.

‘The Assassin’ headlined the ‘Assassin’s Creed’ card at the Europa Hotel and moved to 21(17)-2(2) with an early stoppage of Nicaraguan Arnoldo Solano.

Tennyson, ranked fourth in the world by the WBA, scored his fourth successive stoppage with a left hook to the body which came a split-second after a left to the head that pulled Solano’s hands up.

Solano was counted out and the bout was waved off after 59 seconds of the very first round, his first stoppage loss since relocating to Barcelona and taking up a journeyman role.
