Watch footage from today’s Ulster Hall weigh-ins – Entertaining stuff

All fighters successfully made weight during an entertaining weigh in  for Friday’s #MTKFightNight at Belfast’s Ulster Hall – live on ESPN+ in association with Top Rank and on iFL TV.

The WBO European light-heavyweight title clash between Steven Ward and Liam Conroy was confirmed as they weighed in at 12st 6lb and 12st 6lb 7oz respectively, while Tyrone McKenna clocked 9st 13lb 2oz ahead of his WBC International super-lightweight title showdown with Darragh Foley, who was 9st 13lb on the scales.

Two fascinating welterweight clashes support the main events and bad blood surfaced in the match-up between unbeaten local Belfast star Lewis Crocker (8-0, 6 KOs) and former French champion Karim Aliliche. Surprisingly, especially with McKenna and Foley going head to head it was this one that saw the most agro.

The pair immediately going head to head at the face off, foreheads grinded before the home fighter shoved his visitor away with a push.

The other bout on the main card sees another local favourite in former Commonwealth Games champion Paddy Gallagher, who was all smiles alongside undefeated Essex opponent Liam Wells after Wednesday’s entertaining press conference exchanges.

Caoimhin Agyarko, Taylor McGoldrick and Owen O’Neill also successfully weighed in ahead of bids to steal the limelight on the undercard.
