WATCH: Darragh Foley’s massive KO win

In what had been a scrappy, nip and tuck affair which his opponent seemed to be taking over, Darragh Foley scored a huge KO to defend his WBA Oceania light welterweight title.

The sixth round in Sydney this morning saw a huge swelling spring up on the left cheek of Foley. The Blanchardstown boxer would switch to orthodox following the sight-affecting injury and unleashed a huge right to put Sonny Katiandagho down and out.

A statement, one-punch knockout, Foley [11(8)-2(0)] retained his belt and looks set to move up the WBA ladder and on to bigger things.
