WATCH: Conor McGregor trains with Mick Conlan in LA

Conor McGregor is currently out in America as hype continues to build about a potential match-up with five-weight boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr.

The Dublin mixed martial artist as in Los Angeles recently and made time to meet up with 2015 World Championships gold medalist Mick Conlan at the Box ‘n Burn gym ran by British Olympian Tony Jeffries, who was defeated by Ken Egan in Beijing.

McGregor and Conlan have developed a friendship over the past year, with the Belfast super bantamweight organising sparring for ‘The Notorious’ with Conor Wallace ahead of the Nate Diaz rematch, and the Dublin UFC star agreeing to carry the flag at Conlan’s debut at the Theater at Madison Square Garden on St Patrick’s Day.

Here they posed for pictures before getting down to some training.
